New coffee experiences will be offered by Air New Zealand in lounges across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands with bespoke Carry On blend served onboard in Premium cabins from the end of October. The airline teamed up with Kiwi roasters Coffee Supreme to deliver the perfect pour. From November, Coffee Supreme will also be available in Economy and across the domestic network, where customers will enjoy an Instant blend.
To mark the launch, Air NZ has taken its love of coffee to new heights serving its new bespoke blend, Carry On, straight through the flight deck window at New Zealand’s Queenstown Airport in a world-first moment.
Air New Zealand Chief Customer and Digital Officer Jeremy O’Brien says the airline is always looking for ways to elevate its service and is proud to be supporting a local business.
“Air New Zealand has a unique opportunity to showcase New Zealand products and brands wherever we fly around the world. It’s a privilege to back a local business that shares our passion for quality, care and innovation, and together we’re proudly pouring a taste of home for our customers around the globe.”
Coffee Supreme CEO Andrew Low adds, “We’ve spent three decades chasing better coffee on the ground, now we’re chasing it at altitude. We’re proud as punch to be partnering with Air New Zealand so travellers can enjoy the same care and quality we pour into every cup at 30,000 feet as they do today at their local cafe or at home.”
Roasted to taste just as good in the air as it does on the ground, Carry On takes New Zealand’s iconic coffee culture sky-high. With notes of dark chocolate, malt biscuit and maple, it’s smooth, full-bodied, and designed to hold its own long after take-off. (NAN – 30-10-25)
